Steph: I still can’t believe we got nominated. I feel so heartbroken.
Zach: Why? That’s only one more reason to fight even harder. Don’t let it put you down.
Steph: I guess…
Zach: Trust me. Just keep on smiling!
Steph: Thanks, Zach. Only good thing is that we were already used to these awful beds so it’s not like we have to change rooms because we got nominated. *laughs*
Zach: I’m wondering if Charley is forced to sleep in the Nominees’ bedroom too. I mean, I know she’s not nominated, but still… there are three beds in this room for a reason, right?
Steph: I’d rather have Robert here though. Charley would probably complain the whole night. *laughs*
Zach: That’s true. Oh well, only 4 more weeks of sleeping in here for me… *laughs*
Steph: That is, if you stay…
Zach: We’ll both stay. I promise you that!
Dane: Do you really think that Charley is the twin?
Kyra: To be honest, she’s the best guess we had. And even if she’s not, at least the next HoH will know she’s not one. So you suggesting here couldn’t be a bad thing, don’t worry.
Dane: We can’t get her out this week now though…
Kyra: Yeah, if that was not an act and that’s the real her, we’re doomed because we have to live with her for at least two weeks.
Dane: I feel very open with you, I hope that’s okay. I feel like I know you a bit more than others since I heard about you before this show. You’re like a star!
Kyra: *laughs* I’m far from that. But don’t worry, it’s completely fine. I’ve never been to Newcrest. Tell me, how is life there?
Dane: Oh, it’s great! It’s a small town so we all know each other. We’re like a big family to be honest.
Kyra: That’s amazing. When we get out of here, I expect an invitation!
Dane: Oh, of course!
Selena: How are you feeling?
Lily: Me? I’m fine, thanks. Why, may I ask?
Selena: Why did I ask? Well, we did just avoid getting nominated. *laughs* I thought it would be nice to talk about the relief we’re feeling.
Lily: Oooh… Well, I don’t really feel relieved. *laughs* It’s just my nature, I guess, but I never really feel like that.
Selena: That’s a good thing if you ask me. It’s good to be at least somewhat prepared for everything that life might throw at you.
Lily: True, true.
Lily: I actually wanted to talk with you yesterday, I really liked your little intro, you seemed like someone I could really connect with. You’re a bright young lady so it only made sense. However, I couldn’t find you anywhere. *laughs*
Selena: Oh, thank you. And I was just mingling. *laughs* I tend to do that. It was the first night after all!
Lily: How are you feeling about the other HouseGuests?
Selena: For now, I pretty much like everybody. You?
Lily: Yeah, me too.
Lily: Want me to fix you a cup of tea? I’m really down for one.
Selena: No, thank you. I’m more of a coffee type. But I’ve had two already, one more and I’d go bananas! *laughs*
Lily: Oh, okay. Well, it was certainly nice talking with you!
Selena: Yeah, Lily! For me too!
Selena: That was very, very uncomfortable. I mean, I thought that the two of us would really get along at first, but talking with her just felt like an interrogation. And when she said she was looking for me but couldn’t find me I felt like she knows about the little alliance which was formed. But I’m still not sure if I want to share my feelings with the group since I don’t really trust them either… Oh, gosh, I feel like I’m getting way too paranoid.
Caleb: So, how’s the day been treatin’ ya, lad?
Stuart: It’s been okay. How about you?
Caleb: It’s been pretty boring so far. I thought this would be a lot more exciting. There’s really nothing to do.
Stuart: Oh, that’s not true.
Caleb: Well, I did see the chess table in the living room. And there’s also a dartboard.
Stuart: I could play some darts with you, if you’d like.
Caleb: I’d love that, lad.
Stuart: I’d love to play chess, I would actually do that all day long, but I kind of think that it would be a bad idea to show to the other HouseGuests how good of a player I am. I mean, I was a state champion for two years in a row when I was in high school. And I definitely plan to play this game like I play chess… That’s one more reason why I think playing it with others could be a bad idea. Yeah, I’ll just stick to darts, even though I’m not good at it at all! *laughs*
Charley: I think everybody’s pretty much, like, ignoring me and I hate it. Maybe I am a bit, like, too much at times, but I can’t be someone else… Though, for the sake of the game it would probably be a good idea to tone it down a bit, right? I mean, I’m a social person and I spend most of my day, like, talking to people while I work so… I’m going to go nuts if I continue getting the quiet treatment for the rest of my stay. Darn, I’ll just act like I’m interested in what they have to say, just like I do with my non-famous customers at work. Yeah, I’m brilliant, I know!
Zach: …and that’s basically it. It took me a few years but I’m really glad to be where I’m at now. I work almost every weekend and I travel a lot too.
Charley: Fascinating.
Zach: Where did you say you’re from?
Charley: Oh, I’m from… Veronaville. It’s a quiet town.
Zach: I’ve been there! I loved that small pub… what’s it called?
Charley: It’s not like there’s one pub in, like, Veronaville, Zach. *laughs*
Zach: Oh come on, it’s the one near the town’s monument. Dark Chariot? They’re motto is something with black coffee. *laughs*
Charley: Doesn’t ring a bell. At all.
Zach: Weird. Oh well, I loved it. If I ever get called to play at it again for some event or something, I expect to see you there!
Charley: Yeah, of course!
Charley: He’s so hot. But he’s sooo annoying. I wanted to, like, shoot myself. Can we, like, talk about something else beside you, that would be great, thanks.
Dane: Hey guys, it’s time to announce the players of the first Power of Veto competition! As all of you know, only six of us can compete – me as the current HoH, two Nominees and three HouseGuests chosen at random. Well, they just let me know in the Diary Room that the three HouseGuests chosen at random are…
Dane: Karen, Robert and Charley. Charley, if you do win the Veto, you can save one Nominee just like any other regular HouseGuest, but you can’t save yourself from the twin suggestion as that is something completely different. You are not nominated, and because I did suggest that you might be the twin, you also can’t be nominated as the replacement Nominee. Therefore, only way you can leave the House this week is by being the HouseGuest with the twin. That’s all the news I got.
Karen: Oh, damn it! I really hoped I wouldn’t embarrass myself this soon. *laughs* Time to get my ass kicked by all these juniors! *laughs*
Kyra: We all suspected that Charley wouldn’t be able to play the Veto, but I guess it wouldn’t really be fair and it makes more sense to have the rules like this. This twin twist is really messing with our heads though, good job guys! You sadistic bastards! *laughs*
